We are thrilled to announce that the celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Polish American Amateur Radio Association – PAAROS – was a tremendous success! For nearly two weeks, from October 5 to October 20, 2024, amateur radio operators from around the world connected on shortwave frequencies, creating an unforgettable atmosphere of community and friendship. Our QSO party, which officially began on October 5, attracted participants from various corners of the globe. Thanks to a wide range of emissions, both on voice and in digital modes, we were able to establish many valuable connections. The club call sign NA9PL, used by our operators from the United States, gained great popularity, while our members from other countries added information about their participation in the event to their call signs.
Each connection held special meaning, filling us with joy and adding to the excitement of the celebration. For everyone who made contact with us, we have prepared commemorative QSL cards, which can be ordered through the ClubLog page: https://clublog.org/logsearch/na9pl. If you don’t use ClubLog, let us know via email info@paaros.com and we will work it out. The funds raised through these orders will not only support the printing and distribution of the cards but will also contribute to the continued growth of our club.
Thank you to all the participants who helped make this event unforgettable. Your presence and enthusiasm truly made it special. There is still time to get your commemorative QSL card – don’t miss the chance to order yours and keep a memento of this celebration!
Thank you once again, and may our shared passion for amateur radio continue to flourish. We’ve been making friends, one frequency at a time!
